The cities of Buea and Bamenda are finaly connected to the internet after 93 days of internet black out. Internet was restored in these regions on the 20th of April 2017. Sources say the restoration is a presidential order from president Paul Biya. The North west and South West regions are the only english speaking regions which had been off line for 3 months+. The internet outage in Cameroon is the longest ever recorded internet shut down in the world.
