Best Internet Service providers (ISPs) in Cameroon

  

About seven major internet providers compete in the Cameroons internet market. Many are asking the question ‘’which this companies is the best? ‘’ Below is a classification we made depending on the number of users.

1. Camtel

Camtel is both a mobile phone operator and internet service provider (ISP) in Cameroon. The company had experience a lot of growth since its partnership with the Chinese company Huawei. The company provides the fastest internet in Cameroon. It is well known for its optical fibers and variety of mobile internet options such as Fako. This is why many VIP cabers and hotels prefer to use the connection of Camtel. It also provides wireless internet (Wifi) to its users which many had appreciated. This is the reasons and others had placed this company at the top.  Camtel ‘’The Best is still to Come’’

 2.  MTN

On the second place comes MTN Cameroon.  MTN   Cameroon is a multipurpose company in Cameroon .It offers services such as webhosting, Mobile advertisements, and charity, Internet etc. It is the number one mobile operator in Cameroon with about 10million users.

As an internet provider, MTN is greatly admired. The ISP provides options for its users to access the internet anytime even with 100frs airtime. The internet speed is not very different from that provided by Orange Cameroon. MTN dominates mobile internet in Cameroon. This company provides the best assistance to its customers.

3. Orange

Orange Cameroon is also an ISP and a mobile phone operator in Cameroon. It offers wireless and mobile internet connection. The company also allows its users to select options depending on their need. For example one can decide to use a daily bundle, weekly or a monthly bundle.   ‘’La vie Change avec Orange’’.

4. You Mee

You Mee is an ISP in Cameroon. It is known for its quality internet. The company does not cover up to 1/4 of the Cameroonian population. It is very popular in the divisional head quarters. The recent product is the Mifi wireless modem which many had appreciated. The company works in collaboration with cyber cafes making it easier for users to get assistance. The company is gradually winning the internet market. Don't forget that this is the only 4G wireless network in Cameroon for the moment.

5. NextTel

This is the latest mobile phone operator in Cameroon painting the streets RED. According to the Minister of Postal Services and Telecom, Jean Pierre Biyiti bi Essam, NextTel Cameroon already has 400,000 subscribers since the start of its activities on September 12, 2014. This is remarkable growth in three months. This is the only network providing 3G mobile internet in Cameroon for the moment. Well we have had very few reviews for the moment. 5. Sns Mobility

Sns mobility is an ISP and a marker of mobile products such as tablets, ipad, android phones and more. The company started it ISP service by working in partnership with Camtel. It is well known as a mobile internet provider through the internet key.  The company is about a year in Cameroon.  

Ringo

On the last position is Ringo. It is very unpopular in the Cameroon territory. It provide mobile internet on what is known as the Ringo Internet key. The service centers are not well known which makes accessibility to its services very difficult.
