Mobile money services in Cameroon are provided by different operators . For the moment the dominating companies are the giant mobile money operators MTN and Orange with their mobile banking services used by millions of Cameroonian 

 What is Mobile Money?
 Mobile money is an electronic method of making financial transactions using the mobile phone. It has experience a growth in Cameroon over the past years. Many are aware of the big names like  MTN mobile money and Orange money. There are several mobile money options in

1. MTN MOBILE MONEY Service
        This mobile payment method is offered by MTN Cameroon the leading mobile operator in Cameroon.  For the moment you can use the service to:
Buy airtime
- Pay AES Sonel bills
- Pay Canal + subscriptions
-Transfer and receive money from your love ones around the country.
-Pay school fees in universities such as The university of Buea, Dschang, Bamenda and others.
-This mobile money service can be used to Buy online

2. Orange Money
This  is another mobile money service provided by a telcom operator . e-payment method is powered by Orange Cameroon. This mobile money service is being used by many especially in the towns of Yaounde and Douala for doing business transaction. This mobile banking service cab be used  in the folloiwng ways:
- Pay Eneo electric bills
- Pay Canal + subscriptions
-Transfer and receive money from your love ones around the country.
-Buy medications in some pharmacies around Douala
- Buy fuel from Total petrol stations
-Pay CDE ( Cameroon water cooperation)  bills 
-buy online on sites like Cdiscount

3. Express Union Mobile 
This is one of the first mobile money  payment  service available in Cameroon even though it less popular.  This service is offered by Express Union a bank that is leading in Cameroon so far as money transfer is concern in and out of Cameroon. This method seem the best to me because we have express union counters scattered around the country.  What can you do with an Express union mobile money account? After creating your account, you can benefit from the following:
- Pay Canal + subscriptions
-Transfer and receive money from your love ones around the country
-Transfer money internationally.
-you can pay sonel bills
pay school fees to in the university of douala

4. YUP by SGC 
The SGC previously had a mobile mney service called monifone which was not successful. In 2018 they are back with another powerful mobile money service called YUP.  

 YUP Mobile money services is another great mobile banking service that you can use in Cameroon.
The YUP mobile money service is accessible on the phone through the YUP App available on Google play store and Apple Store. 
The App is easy to use and users can transfer money, pay bills among others on their phones.

   If you own a YUP account at SGC, you can withdraw your money from any YUP terminal just like Orange money and MTN money,you can withdraw at the  counter ,Societe General Cameroon ATM machine , or any express exchange agency around you. 
YUP Mobile money is an international service that functions in all countries where  SGC Bank operates.
You can as well link your personal account to your You account to make mobile transactions.

      Hello ANGU RANSOM, NET UNION Currently in BETA mode and they accept merchant application when you contact them. We received their API and currently integrating it to our site. you can email cs [at] netunionpay.com
